Our Mission: To Educate and De-Indoctrinate
It is the mission of this site to educate individuals who have been diagnosed with "Asperger's Syndrome" (by themselves or by professionals) and to educate parents and students by opening their eyes to the true situation at hand here: the destroying of our minds, freedoms and virtues.
To de-indoctrinate people, especially those who have been through the public school system, will take longer. Most people are taught, by many corners of our society, that their faults are their virtues and their virtues their faults. Such corners include religious groups (which promote the idea that morality is decided by authority), modern movies (which teach that there are no morals, and that happiness isn't possible), and the current economic system (which is contradictory, communist, evil, irrational, immoral, and supports punishing any and all productive people in order to support any and all unproductive people).
We are confident, however, that it will be easy to convince people of our assertions if we are armed with the right material and if we choose the right way to present it. The most frustrating thing in the world is having to navigate through a site which doesn't sort its material according to that material's relevence to the main point the site is making. Therefore, the most effective, relevant, and important materials will be mentioned right upfront on this site.
We will soon have an ebook, titled "The Politics of Autism". It will elaborate on and add to the information on this site and will give readers (or listeners) a new perspective on "Asperger's Syndrome".
Our generic assertion, a "nutshell" condensation, is that Asperger's Syndrome is not a true syndrome, but is a label given to intelligent, individualistic, and rational persons, and that the purpose of this label is to stifle thoughtfulness in order to instill obedience along political and social lines. Most human behaviors and traits have a mundane explanation, and can be understood by means of common sense not pseudoscience.
The term "Asperger's Syndrome" appears to have two uses and meanings. One such use implies that AS is the cause of certain traits such as rationality, sensitivity to noise, etc. The other one -often subconsciously- implies that the traits themselves are the syndrome.
While experts claim AS causes the traits, in reality, they deny that things others than AS can cause the traits, and, instead appear to be using the term "Asperger's Syndrome" to refer to the traits themselves.
One probable reason for this denial is that doctors (honest ones, at least) don't see the true causes of the traits because they don't think various and seemingly unconnected traits (rationality, strong morals, sensitivity, and motor clumsiness) can occur in one person without some kind of explanation (a "syndrome"). However, when one accepts the Truth, one becomes both moral and rational. When one becomes moral and rational- in this modern society- one is ostracized, and is unable to function, one becomes shy, uncoordinated, and depressed.
Some doctors should be given a break; our society no longer teaches about Truth, and the connection between such things as rationality and morality. But other doctors consciously work to marginalize rational, creative, and moral people, along with the connection between these different virtues. Some are immoral on the inside, which makes them want to "diagnose" virtuous people. This may be because they resent anyone morally better than they are.
It is likely many doctors subconsciously believe rationality, or moral righteousness, amounts to a syndrome in itself, simply because they do not share those virtues. As we can see, when they claim that Asperger's Syndrome causes these traits, they are lying. Asperger's Syndrome is a LABEL they give to the traits; the cause of the traits is in the person's own choices and virtuousness. The person caused his own traits.
In dishonest doctors' minds, Asperger's is not the cause of traits such as rationality; these wonderful traits themselves are the syndrome, to be erased from our society.
Our main concern, in regard to "Asperger's Syndrome," is the public school system. It is there more than any other place that most "diagnoses" occur, and where most abuses of those with this "syndrome" take place.
* Remember, there is no clear line between those with AS characteristics and those without. Most people embody them to some extent. The difference between us and AS experts is that we consider the traits- in essence- desirable, natural (they occur without purposeful interference), and normal (they are workable, i.e., they work best when dealing with reality). Any undesirable traits of an "Asperger's" person are most likely normal reactions of a natural, healthy being caught in a world that is unnatural and unhealthy. *
The public school system is the main culprit; it is the largest popularizer of the idea that AS traits are unhealthy, unusual, or threatening (they are, in fact, to our current public school system). School psychologists are paid thousands of dollars a year to assess what is "wrong" with a 7-year-old who will not follow an unfair rule until he hears the reason behind it, or a 5-year-old who would rather gaze in awe at a model solar system than play tag with five brats who push him around on a daily basis. Intelligent children leave school incredibly twisted emotionally, if not mentally, and are plagued by a frightening sense of guilt every time they try to think or find themselves disagreeing, even in subjective matters of opinion, with an authority figure.
Anyone who wishes to cultivate a smart, moral, vivacious, inquisitive child would do well to take him out of public school, and any concerned person who hopes to see that a child's life is not ruined by a faulty diagnosis should do the same.
On our "EDUCATE!" page, we list a ton of great books, articles, sites (with lots more books or articles), and other great learning material to help you, whether you're a child going through the misery of being labeled "different", a parent looking for explanations, or an adult wanting to know why you haven't grown to understand a non-understandable world. We hope you enjoy the materials, since a lot of them are entertaining as well as educational.
